The Blount County Probate Office located inside the Hayden Annex will soon reduce its operating days due to a staff shortage.
Beginning Sept. 1, 2026, the Hayden location will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays only until further notice, according to the Blount County Commission.
The office handles driver license and state ID renewals and duplicates, business licenses, boat tags, and hunting and fishing licenses.
Residents needing assistance may call 205-973-0584 or visit the Oneonta Probate Office inside the Blount County Courthouse.
