The Smoke Rise HOA is holding a Chili and Soup Cook-Off on Saturday, October 17, at the Smoke Rise Pool, 1195 Mountain Trail. Contestant setup begins at 9:30 a.m., and chili and soup will be ready to serve at 11 a.m. There are two awards, Judges’ Choice and People’s Choice.
Contestants are wanted. Entry is $15 for chili or soup, and 3 gallons is recommended. Register by October 10 at smokerise@smokerisehoa.org.
