The Blount County Hayden Annex is back to its normal schedule. Beginning Monday, October 5, the annex is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closes from noon to 1 p.m. each day for lunch, the Blount County Commission announced.
The annex had been open on a reduced schedule, Tuesdays and Thursdays only, since Sept. 1 because of a staff shortage, according to the Blount County Commission.
Services at the annex include driver license and state ID renewals and duplicates, business licenses, boat tags, hunting and fishing licenses, motor vehicle tags, title applications, manufactured home registrations and decal renewals, property tax payments and property tax exemption claims.
The annex, at 306 2nd Avenue, houses the Revenue, Probate and Sheriff’s offices. The phone number is 205-590-2851.
