Brothers who bought the Jackson House and surrounding land from Col. J.F.B. Jackson in 1887, also operating the Sloss furnaces in Birmingham. Renamed it the Blount Springs Hotel and invested heavily in improving it, building the reputation that made Blount Springs one of the best-known resorts in the Southeast.
