A local historian and author of Blount Springs: Alabama’s Fountain of Youth (Fifth Estate), a history of Blount Springs as a health resort, and of a second book, Hanceville, The First 150 Years, which debuted in 2021. He gave a talk on the history of Blount Springs at the Cullman County Public Library, reported by the Cullman Tribune in December 2019, and runs the Facebook page Blount Springs, Alabama’s Fountain of Youth, which shares period photographs and stories of the resort.
