Signed as “J.V. Musgrove” on an 1876 newspaper advertisement for the “Great Southern Cave” at Bangor, running organized tours more than sixty years before J. Breck Musgrove built a nightclub in the same cave. Born 1850, died 1907 - son of Rev. Phillip McCarty Musgrove, founder of the Broad-Axe newspaper.
